We ship Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday UPS next day air, avoiding possible delays over the weekend. Our goal is to provide the best shipping experience possible for the koi.

Welcome to Black Swamp Koi Farms, also known as Kuronuma Koi Farms where our love for aquatics and nature evolved from a passionate hobby into a dedicated endeavor. Located in Findlay, Ohio in the area of the great black swamp of North America, we specialize in breeding, raising, and selling exceptional, show-quality koi. The parents of all of our koi are from Japanese stock. If you have questions or are searching for a particular variety, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Because we do not have complete control once our precious koi leave the farm in the unlikely case of DOA, two pictures within 2 hrs of delivery is required for a replacement or refund, one picture of fish in unopened bag and the other with fish lying on dry newspaper. And for refund of shipping we need three pictures of the box damaged where it was delivered, which is required for UPS reimbursement in case the problem occurred during shipping.
