Add a touch of prehistoric elegance to your pond with a live farm-raised Paddlefish (Polyodon spathula) — a graceful, filter-feeding species that coexists beautifully with koi, goldfish, and sturgeon. Known for their distinctive paddle-shaped snouts and calm nature, paddlefish are an extraordinary addition to any large ornamental or natural pond, or large tank. 

Their long, flat snout (the “paddle”) isn’t just for show. It’s covered in electroreceptors, which detect weak electric fields given off by plankton in the water.

We ship Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday UPS next day air, avoiding weekends to prevent unnecessary stress on the fish.

Because we do not have complete control once our precious koi leave the farm in the unlikely case of DOA, two pictures within 2 hrs of delivery is required for a replacement or refund, one picture of fish in unopened bag and the other with fish lying on dry newspaper. And for refund of shipping we need three pictures of the box damaged where it was delivered, which is required for UPS reimbursement in case the problem occurred during shipping.
